Airtel Kabaka Birthday Run

One of Uganda's most beloved mass-participation events, the Kabaka Birthday Run regularly mobilised tens of thousands of participants. Held annually in honour of the Kabaka's birthday, it brought together Buganda Kingdom subjects, corporate teams and everyday runners in one of the largest gatherings on the national calendar.

From 2016 to 2022 we played a key role in managing this culturally significant event, from route coordination through to race day execution at that scale. It served as a major platform for public health campaigns, particularly around HIV/AIDS awareness, turning a cultural celebration into a vehicle for national health messaging.
